About the Area
Take a holiday with us and you'll spoilt for choice.
Pembrokeshire, West Wales, is a unique area, with
a sense of freedom all of its own.
If you love the great outdoors, you'll appreciate
not only the magnificent scenery, as befits Britain's only coastal
National Park, but also plenty of activities for a total holiday
experience.
Water sports enthusiasts can choose from swimming,
surfing, sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing, aqua diving and deep
sea fishing. Country lovers will be spellbound by the peace and
tranquillity to be found along the nature trails, bridle paths,
country parks.
Geologists come to Pembrokeshire to study the exciting
rock formations, while ornithologists prefer to explore the bird
sanctuaries of the offshore Islands where Grey seals are also a
common sight.

The breathtaking coastline is the feature for which
this area is most renowned. There are 160 miles of Pembrokeshire's
long distance coast path with countless bays and beaches.
Broad Haven itself has one of the finest and safest
beaches, the firm, golden sands being a paradise for children. They
will delight in dipping their fishing nets into the numerous rock
pools at either end of the beach. During a fortnight's holiday in
Pembrokeshire it would be possible to visit a different beach every
day and still not see them all.
Nearest to Broad Haven are Newgale, Nolton Haven,
Little Haven and Druidston Haven and Dale which has the reputation
for being the sunniest spot in Wales.
From Tenby you can take a boat trip out to Caldey
Island or visit the ancient town of Pembroke which is dominated
by its Norman castle, the birthplace of Henry Tudor. The cathedral
city of St Davids is the centuries old seat of Christianity in Wales
and birthplace of our patron saint. Arts and crafts are in abundance
and it is often possible to watch local craftsmen at work.
