Wales Tourist Board Dragon Award
Scamford Caravan Park is situated in attractive open countryside 4.5 miles from the west coast and golden sands of Newgale beach and 4.5 miles from Haverfordwest with its castle, museum, extensive shopping, cinema, golf course, bowling green, tennis club and indoor swimming pool.
Situated close to the Coastal Path and near the unspoilt sandy beaches of St. Brides Bay ie Little Haven, Broad Haven, Druidston Haven, Nolton Haven, Solva, Caerfai(green flag) and Whitesands Bay(blue flag), Scamford Caravan Park is well placed for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its many hidden coves, unspoilt countryside and coastal walks.
Since Pembrokeshire is on the westerly tip of Wales, it has a mild climate and is especially attractive in the spring when the roads and beaches are quiet, and flowers are thick in the hedges and cliffs. The unspoilt rugged beauty of this part of Wales is home to an abundance of undisturbed wildlife such as puffins, kittiwakes, cormorants and shearwaters. A boat trip to the island bird sanctuaries of Skokholm and Skomer makes a great day out!
Explore the Preseli Hills from the saddle. Visit many local craftspeople, traditional mills, the ancient Celtic Monuments, and the tiny Cathedral City of St Davids with its unique variety of shops and 12th Century Cathedral. Have a family day out at Oakwood Leisure Park or simply soak up the atmosphere of the many fishing villages and coves. There is so much of interest that, like many of our visitors, once captured by the enchantment of Pembrokeshire, you will want to return.
Scamford Caravan Park is set within 3.5 acres, with views across open farmland towards the Preseli Hills. All of our 25 Dragon Award Luxury Holiday Homes have 2/3 bedrooms, full size cooker and refrigerator, shower room, toilet, and a comfortable lounge with gas fire and colour television. Everything is provided, except for towels and bed linen. All our caravans have Wales Tourist Board Dragon Award - your guarantee of the high quality. We have also added a payphone, and a laundrette with ironing facilities, to our amenities.
Children will enjoy our very well equipped play area complete
with log activity course, trampoline, tyre swing and sandpit. We can also accommodate
five touring caravans, with electric hook ups if required. There is a small
modern toilet block with free hot showers for tourers.
All caravans have:
